Spinner Game

Attached is my introductory game for my Electronics and Controls class. We were told to create a game solely with digital logic, no programming. I decided to create a spinner that had to be timed to land in the green zone with a well timed push and release of a button.

A specific aspect of this project I am proud of is the use of the waterjet machine in the Tufts Machine Shop. I needed a precisely measured plate, and understood that doing the measurements and drilling by hand would likely lead to a mis-measurement. I created a drawing of the motor in CAD and then uploaded it to the waterjet and cut 1/4 inch thick aluminum to the desired shape.

I came out with a very durable and satisfying final product!
