The purpose of this FEA was to use Solidworks to determine the stresses and displacements from an induced force in the center of the bar. I experimented with different types of supports, using supporting bolts as well as supporting the bar through pins.

I also compared the results with the same FEA, this taking advantage of symmetry, by using half of the bar and applying half the force, and instead of fixing the right half of the bar, using a symmetry fixture.
